“Annihilation 2K5″

On another DJ Child mixtape, “Annihilation 2K5″ boldly cranking up rapper Cassidy’s “I’m A Hustler” in the beginning with exclusive drops by dancehall’s elite over the banging beat. Taking us onwards to the swinging, lovely “Off the Hook” riddim, Harry Todler on “Jamaica” spits his always-danceable rhythmic flow, and you’ll be repeating—“Told yuh Nananoye!” Bounty Killer joins Gentleman on “She’s Mine” and when Red Roze glides his ghetto tones in as well, you’re in for another hardcore experience as Sasha gets her bills payed on “Goodman.” Baptizing Richie Spice’s “Marijuana Remix” over a beefy beat, it’s onto the “Rah Rah” riddim session, moving into the “Blazing Hot” riddim onslought and then it’s a detour to the barrio for a spicy Reggaeton session with Cheka, Zion and Lenox on “Quien Mas Que Yo.” With still the “Bubble Up,” “Tighty Tighty,” “Jonkanoo,” and “Applause” riddim sessions left, you better be in top physical shape for DJ Child’s hustle and bustle!

“Vybz Killa”

For the underground dancehall massive surfing the Web and combing the sidewalks for the latest mixtape fire, your hardcore heaven awaits you with “Vybz Killa” vol. 14, blended by DJ Child. With exclusive dubplates from Sizzla and Vybz Kartel, the “Purple Skunk” and “Flossing” riddims open the artillery of Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Kid Kurrupt and Farenheit to satisfy yor dancehall appetite. This is no lightweight stuff, as Rayvon on “High Grade” sits upon a heavy hip-hop beat known as the “Road Block” riddim, seeing Voicemail, Shaggy and Rik Rok and Prince Mydas all stopping traffic. Inducing honeys to surely give in to your begging to grind on the dance floor is the “Fire Wire” riddim, and when Wayne Wonder sings “Nice,” your work has just begun. Continue to give your waistline exercise as Master Lee’s “Fifth Avenue” riddim sees others like T.O.K., Chico and Tanto Metro and Devonte carry this compilation to higher heights on one of my favorites for 2005—Crissy D and Vybz Kartel’s “Wasting My Time” over the “Ice Cold” riddim. Ah yes, cool us down for the summer DJ Child!
