Selah Intl. & Project Groundation have united to bridge conscious fashion & cultural music for the peoples undiluted from industry politicks that run the game these days. This is more then just fashion & music—this is a movement!!!
Marv Flores (Founder of Selah Int’l) & DJ Child (Founder of Project Groundation) have been long time bredren…so although this series is called “The Link Up” the roots stem much deeper then a surface level link…this is straight family vibes.
When the opportunity manifested between the two to collaborate efforts creatively in the form of a mixtape project—it was obvious for DJ Child to reach out to fellow PGM family member Jahdan Blakkamoore to handle hosting duties and set the bar high for a brand new series that’s not going anywhere!!! This is a movement for the peoples—Get used to it!!!

Jahdan Blakkamoore & DJ Child will be touring the West Coast of America & Ontario, Canada from 4/6/12 to 4/21/12 (For all dates, venues & opening acts please check the flyer). This is a Live Mixtape Performance in true PGM style. Jahdan & DJ Child will also be performing & world premiering some of the brand new material off of their upcoming studio album “Words of Prophecy” set for release in fall of 2012 (Jahdan’s 3rd full length studio album—Produced entirely by DJ Child of PGM).
The title track “Words of Prophecy” will be featured on the upcoming compilation cd that accompanies next months issue of Riddim Magazine. So all PGM German family—you gonna get the 1st preview of whats to come on the album.
“The Sound Bwoy Bureill Tour” is the 1st time Jahdan Blakkamoore & DJ Child have toured America & Canada together (They toured West Africa in 2008)—The shows are not to be missed and will be guaranteed party rockers!!!

Golden State Warrior Meets Project Groundation

This is a timelapse shot by DJ Child of the “Golden State Warrior” doing an exclusive piece for DJ Child & Jahdan Blakkamoore’s upcoming video “Ghetto People” off their soon to be released studio album “Words Of Prophecy”. The “Golden State Warrior” is a Oakland, CA based street art icon best known for his political commentary through his work in the community. He branded the “I am Oscar Grant” character as well as numerous others including “We Define Wealth”, “Tax the Rich”, I am Troy Davis”, “OPD killed my son” etc. Our personal favorite at PGM is a row of chickens with the words ‘Coming home to roost” based off the famous Malcolm X quote. While most garffiti/street artists are about propagating their name,,,”Golden State Warrior” is about spreading a message…and that message is “Their justice don’t work—-Think different”
